7Laps provides an IoT edge intelligence platform that runs entirely on your local network. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the 7Laps system and mobile app handle and how it is stored.

Data We Process

The 7Laps system processes the following data, all of which stays on your local device:

  • Sensor readings (temperature, humidity, soil moisture, etc.) received from your IoT devices
  • Device names and configuration you provide during setup
  • Historical sensor data stored in local binary files on the gateway

Data We Do NOT Collect

7Laps is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We do not:

  • Require user accounts or registration
  • Collect personal information, email addresses, or names
  • Send any data to cloud servers or external services
  • Use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs
  • Share or sell any data to third parties
  • Access your location, contacts, camera, or microphone

Local-Only Processing

All data processing occurs on the 7Laps gateway device (Raspberry Pi) within your local network. The mobile app communicates directly with the gateway over your local network. No internet connection is required for the system to function.

Third-Party Services

The 7Laps system does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or cloud providers. Your data remains entirely within your control on your local network.

Data Retention

Sensor data is stored locally on the gateway device in binary history files. You have full control over this data and can delete it at any time by removing files from the gateway. No copies of your data exist outside your local network.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information from any users, we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
